MOD-C, the Meaningful Odyssey of Discovery & Connection, is a human-centric personal site dedicated to sharing emotional, meaningful stories through music. The music shared on MOD-C is created independently. It is recorded, mixed, and mastered at Essex STudio, and published by SXVD.
MOD-C is about passion for music, for creation and innovation to gather a community of substance, artistry, and emotional connection.
Jacques Mascaro is the founder of MOD-C. Music has been an integral part of his life ever since he first laid his fingers on a piano key. His journey has seamlessly intertwined a career in life sciences with an unyielding passion for music, encompassing composition, production, and collaboration. At the Berklee College of Music, he pursued studies alongside esteemed musicians and industry professionals, fueling his dedication to the art of songwriting and bringing music to life. His repertoire continues to grow, from writing lyrics and composing melodies to playing instruments, recording, mixing, and mastering.
In parallel, he has led a career in the life sciences, contributing to global treatment advancements in therapeutic areas such as oncology, neurology, and immunology. His leadership roles at companies have honed his ability to drive strategic transformations, implement change management, and foster a culture of human focus and innovation. His experience with Boards of Directors and non-profit organizations has further deepened his understanding of business ethics, sustainability, and global impact.
Today, he unites two experiences - through MOD-C, a transformative platform that blends precision and ethics with the emotional authenticity of music. Through his project, THE EXPERIMENT, and as he continues to develop his musical craft, he remains dedicated to fostering creative collaboration and empowering artists and listeners alike.
